A post office visit

 

I needed to send out some post cards to spread the word out on some great European river cruise promotions.  This dictated a trip to the post office to purchase some stamps.

It was an oversized post card so I showed it to the clerk “asking how much postage was required to mail this?”

She measured it and replied it’s a letter so 44 cents. Then she said let me see the post card again. After looking at the front of it with an elegant river cruise vessel sent against the splendors of Europe she stated “You need our sailboat stamps.  They work with the theme.”   

Way to go USPS! Mega congrats to the postal gal for going above & beyond!
