American Civil War themed 2011 river cruises

2011 marks the 150th anniversary of the American Civil War. There are plenty of special events and activities scheduled during the 2011-2015 time period. I’ll keep you posted so check my blog frequently.

Blount Small Ship Adventures, formerly American Canadian Caribbean Line, is having Civil War authors onboard four of its 2011 Mississippi River cruise itineraries. This cruise line has been taking travelers along the Mississippi River for nearly 2 decades but only recently have they enhanced their programs to include more onboard activity as well as noted Civil War speakers.
