Airlines to Congress: 'Stop looking at us as a cash cow'


The airline industry warned Congress on Thursday against heaping new taxes on them, saying transport and tourism are too important to the U.S. economy to be hamstrung with higher taxes or more regulation.

But haven’t the airlines been using the same approach with travelers?

A fee for this and a fee for that! 

I've taken a hard look at some air trips and it's cheaper time & gas wise to drive. Fortunately I've got a vehicle that gets good gas mileage on the road.
